Revealed in MIDEM Cannes 2012, the world’s largest annual music industry trade fair, << Fallin >> is the hotly anticipated second album by Singapore’s international recording artist and songwriter, Tay Kewei   (鄭可為).

<<Fallin>>is an upbeat yet poignant, melodic and soulful album that sees Kewei (可為) at ease in various music genres and singing in both English Japanese. <<Fallin>> is slated for release this February in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The official album launch, Y.E.S 93.3FM Tay Kewei’s album launch party will be held at Singapore’s newest live music venue, Switch on the 1^st March in Singapore from 7.30pm onwards.

<<Fallin>> includes 12 tracks, 2 original compositions and 10 reinterpretations of Tay Kewei (鄭可為) favorites’ artists’ songs that influence her during her musical career. The album is largely produced by The Invisible Men (award-winning Chinese pop music producer, Tan Hanjin (陳奐仁) and Tim Ngoh. This is the second time  Tay Kewei (鄭可為) and Tan Hanjin (陳奐仁)  has collaborated since her  first chart topping album in 2010, << Come Closer…with Kewei>>.

Kewei (可為) is evolving as a singer-songwriter while staying true to her signature style in <<Fallin>>. “Artists whom I’ve admired forever – Tony Bennett, Kanye West, John Legend, Jason Mraz, Koji Tamaki, Adele and N.E.R.D. have moved me when I’ve first heard them sing. There’s something in every single one of these artists that have really and truly inspired <<Fallin>>”, a very special way touching souls.

<<Fallin>>, the first single, is a jazzy upbeat original composition by Kewei (可為) and the talented young producer, Tat Tong who has written songs for Derrick Hoh, Joi Chua, Christian Bautista and Jonathan Wong. Kewei (可為) penned her most intimate thoughts about finding freedom and being at peace with herself since the start of her musical journey as a singer-songwriter and performer.
